I’ve been riding motorcycles for 26 years and this is by far the best helmet I’ve ever owned. It fits perfectly, is lightweight, and has no drag. I literally feel safer wearing it. The anti fog pinlock lense and deluxe storage bag are an added bonus. I love that new car smell it has too! Also, it was delivered the very next day after I ordered it. You can’t go wrong with a 6D helmet.
Been riding 58 years. Been through a lot of premium helmets. Road raced, flat tracked, enduro, trail riding, street. 6D helmets are the best helmets ever made. Better than any other helmet in every way. Better than all the rest in every detail and every functional aspect.
Just ordered a replacement 6D ATS-1R to replace the one I crashed in last Sunday at the track. Low side @ 55-60mph and slammed my head pretty good, barrel rolled 5-6 times, and zero concussion/head issues…not even a headache. Loved the helmet already and now I’m a lifetime 6D advocate.

MULTI-Density EPS LINERS
By utilizing multiple densities of EPS liners, the EPS works in conjunction with the damper array to create an effective energy absorption system.
EPS DAMPING TOWERS
Damping Towers are placed strategically throughout the inner surface of the outer EPS liner as well as the outer surface of the inner EPS liner to assist in progressive loading of the ODS system during impacts.
Optimized shell design
The 6D concept of 'Optimized Shell Design' encompasses a system in which multiple materials collaborate to enhance protection and energy management. The shell needs to maintain structural integrity to prevent penetration while avoiding excessive stiffness. Excessive stiffness can undermine the helmet's ability to manage energy effectively.
Isolation Dampers connect the ODS™ carrier to the outer EPP liner to isolate impact energy from the brain. These dampers have elastic properties and a unique shape that create a progressive spring rate, helping to manage low-threshold energy. The hourglass shape and elasticity also aid in managing the inner liner's three-dimensional displacement.
Thicker lower density EPS lined chinbar is more durable and provides more energy absorbing material for side impacts to the jaw area.
