A TITLE WON WITH THREE MOTOS TO GO
Francisco Garcia got his weekend off to a perfect start by securing pole position in qualifying, once again confirming his speed and dominance throughout the season.
But the stakes were quite different in the first race. With the title within reach, Francisco had to cope with the unique pressure and the significance of the moment. Despite the stress, he put in a solid performance and finished second—a result that was enough to mathematically clinch the EMX250 European Championship title on Saturday, with three motos remaining in the season.
A historic moment for Francisco, but also for the entire Venum Bud Racing Kawasaki team, which is seeing the hard work of the past two years pay off.
In the second race, now free from the pressure of the championship, Francisco followed up with another second-place finish. He thus finished second in the overall of the weekend.
Francisco joined Bud Racing two years ago, when he was still just a 16-year-old rider. Two seasons of hard work, victories, sacrifices, doubts, learning, and growth have enabled the Spanish rider to reach a new milestone and establish himself at the highest level in Europe.
This title also represents a program and a team. Since his arrival, Francisco has grown alongside his mechanics, the staff, and the entire Venum Bud Racing Kawasaki Team. This progress has been built collectively, with a commitment to helping him grow not only as a rider but also as a person.
This latest European title also underscores the strength of the Bud Racing program, which is capable of supporting and developing young riders all the way to the highest level, as Francisco has now signed with the Official Kawasaki KRT MX2 Team for 2027.
JAKE CANNON STILL IN 3RD PLACE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The weekend was more challenging for Jake Cannon, especially in the sandy conditions at Arnhem.
After a difficult qualifying session who means a bad gate pick, he got 2 bad starts starts, but Jake fight hard all moto long to finish 7th and 9th in the two races, Jake took 8th place in the overall standings for the weekend.
He currently holds 3rd place in the EMX250 European Championship. There is now one final round left to secure that third-place finish and end the season on a high note.
ONE LAST EVENT TO WRAP UP THE SEASON
Francisco Garcia has clinched the title, but the season isn’t over yet. There’s one final race in Turkish in 2 weeks for the EMX250 series, with the goal of ending this incredible season on a high note.
