It’s been a while since 6D had a rider lining up under a factory 450 tent, so seeing
Cornelius Tøndel make the jump to Monster Energy Kawasaki is a cool moment for
everyone involved.

Tøndel earned the opportunity after a solid start to the 2026 Pro Motocross season
aboard a Kawasaki with Bubba Pauli’s ISRT race team, where he put together several
strong rides and continued to show the speed that first put him on the map in Europe.

What makes the move even better is how it came together. When the factory Kawasaki
opportunity appeared, ISRT worked with Tøndel to help make it happen. In a sport
where opportunities like this don't come around every day, it was refreshing to see a
team support their rider's chance to take the next step rather than stand in the way.

For Tøndel, it's another milestone in a career that's taken him from the European
championship ranks to MXGP and now onto one of the biggest teams in American
motocross. And for 6D, it means having a rider back on a factory 450 program at the
highest level of the sport.

The results will speak for themselves, but regardless of where he finishes, it's great to
see Cornelius get his shot and equally cool to see the people around him, including
ISRT, help make it happen. That's a win for everyone involved!
