Amazing helmet, It definitely saved my partners life. He hit a fence around 80-90km/h on a dirtbike, thrown 10 meters and took the brunt of the ground with his head and shoulder. 17 broken bones later and no head injuries he is on the mend. My husband was in a bad dirtbike accident 2 and a half weeks ago…broke his scapula in half and has 7 or 8 broken ribs with multiple fractures. Lawn darted the back of my head, after getting ejected from my bike while hot on the gas in fourth gear.  I know if I wasn’t wearing anything other than a 6D, I would have been jacked. I should owe $100,000 to 6D Helmets for letting me buy their $795 ATR-1 Moto Carbon! I saved that money after not needing a MediVac chopper ride. Seriously. Cheers to everyone in the company. No concussion.

By far the best performance in protection over anything else I’ve tried or had the unfortunate experience of product testing. I was a very early adopter of the Leatt GPX Carbon helmet, however the first time I had any helmet impact I was out cold for a couple of minutes with the worst concussion I’ve ever had in my 42 years of life, no loss of consciousness for several years racing prior and a lot of crashes. The helmet showed hardly any evidence of impact from paint scuffing or nicks but one of the visor anchors separated within the helmet so it was warranty replaced. One month later I had a very low speed front end tuck with subsequent face plant into soft ground in a fresh Leatt. The visor screw broke as it should this time and guess what,…dazed and confused for 1-2 minutes with mild concussion but fortunately not completely knocked out. The following week I shelved that Leatt and went to my 4 year old Klim F4 for a slightly muddy race. This time an over the bars event onto my face/goggles exploding the visor and goggles into pieces and was back on the bike applying throttle within 10-15 seconds without any mental stutter. At this point I knew I needed a better helmet. I sought out 6D and have since only had one significant crash onto blue grooved clay which left a lot of marks on the helmet, but no dizziness or brain fog. Fast forward to my mountain bike helmets, I had never had a problem with MIPS type helmets other than they were horrible for helmet mounted headlights for night riding and never impressed me in holding/handling. I made the swap to the ATB and had the unfortunate incident of experience my worst MTB crash to date while in Chile on a Downhill course. I manage to split the EPS inner liner in the 6D from the impact,…but never became dazed or confused. In a previous down hill crash in another 6D I managed to dent the outer shell with at least a 1/4″ impression, yet never felt cloudy in the head. I’ll not use another helmet to protect my head as the 6D Omni Directional Suspension System works better than anything else I’ve had on my head in real life, the technology works!

I had a severe crash a week ago today breaking my back 7 vertebrae’s and breaking my shoulder blade and no other injuries surprisingly not my head no brain injury because of your guys helmet and am thankful for owning one cause the doctors said I should have had a severe concussion and thankful to you guys for making such a amazing product protecting ppl thank you so much I will be purchasing a new one and trying not to get all my friends to buy them.

This helmet likely saved my life over the weekend. I lawn darted into the ground hard enough for the camera to crack the top of the helmet and leave my head unharmed. Although I broke my back in 3 places I didn’t even get knocked out. I am a believer in your helmets, they have saved me before but this time takes the cake.

I have the ATS-1R Titanium. Very comfortable, well ventilated, awesome style. The best protection on the market backed up by realistic testing. Go do the research yourself and see. I’ve also had good experiences with their customer service. As far as price…Well, “cheap ain’t good, and good ain’t cheap”

Myself and my twin boys all have current 6D ATR-1 helmets and we love them! I’m a Stunt man and longtime racer and cautious moto Dad, so safety is paramount. I get 50% Off Of other brands. But I’ll only put our heads in 6D. I guess it’s time to upgrade to the ATR-2!

My son is 11 yrs old and competes in the ATV Nationals. This weekend at Ironman in Indiana he had a mishap were another ride landed on his back pinning his head between the other riders rear swing arm and my son handlebars. Not a very good situation. My son was wearing a 6D helmet. Which took the biggest hit and it did it’s job. The helmet has a couple cracks in rear of the helmet from the swing arm and the face shield has a very large crack. My son how ever has some scratches from the chin strap and brush burns on face from his googles. The doctors are sure he had a concussion but yet he doesn’t shows any concussion symptoms. I am very impressed with how the helmet held up and did exactly what 6D said it would. We will be buy another one. Hope we can get it by the next round in less than 2 weeks and he will be riding but with a 6D helmet on his head. Thanks 6D for protecting my son.

At the risk of sounding vain, I’m going to go ahead and claim that I’m a good rider, and can hold my own on the trails. However, I always ride with a helmet. Mistakes happen even to the best riders, and I’m not willing to risk increased injury to my brain. I can’t express more on how important a great helmet is to me. I’ve ridden and raced bikes for the last 15 years, and I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve hit my head. It hasn’t been until the last couple years that I’ve really started to pay attention to helmet technology and how safe a helmet is for my head.  I’ve finally strayed away from only considering what looks cool and fast, or what is going to match with what kits I have. My primary focus now is on fit and function which equals more safety for my brain.

I had a pretty good mountain bike crash today resulting in several dents to my 6D ATB-1T. It took it like a champ and while the rest of my body hurts, my head feels great. Thank you for making such an awesome product. It’s amazing.
